Let's talk Menopause and Depression

In this video we will be talking about depression. This symptom is very common in menopause. The accumulation of symptoms such as hot sweats, lack of sleep, poor food choices, too much alcohol and other stimulants, mood fluctuations etc often leads to over whelm which can trigger depression. Our total hormonal shift causes many of us to feel low and anxious and therefore can in some cases lead to an inability to cope and often lead to depression.

What can we do to reduce the chances of suffering from depression in our menopause? Try to get adequate sleep, regular exercise ( as it will enhance your energy and your mood) Look at relaxation techniques. Seek support groups. Speak to family and friends and always reach out to your doctor if you are concerned.
