What can we do about Hair Loss?

Research shows that hair loss in menopause is a common symptom. This is due to a hormonal imbalance, the lowering of the production of estrogen, and progesterone. In fact the hair often thins out. To prevent your hair thinning eat more nutrient-rich foods, exercise intelligently ( so as not to produce oxidative stress). Exercise will also increase the blood flow to your scalp and therefore keep your hair healthy! Use a natural gentle hair shampoo and conditioner. Don't over heat your hair and avoid over styling. Keep away from stressful situations to reduce cortisol and make sure that you get enough sleep.
